Program Coordinator Job Description

 

Job Purpose: The Program Coordinator will provide organization, coordination, and communication support for Recovery Vermont’s nationally recognized and credentialed training programs. We provide the training for Vermont’s recovery workforce and seek a training coordinator with a perfect blend of attention to detail and strength-based approaches to work. This is a full-time position based in Montpelier, VT. 

The Program Coordinator will report to the Chief Operating Officer of the organization to support the trainings by: 

  • Coordinating and follow up on all aspects of trainings (emailing with prospective students and accepted students, emailing recovery resources, scouting locations, organizing materials/supplies for trainings, etc..) 
  • Managing all aspects of online platform Moodle learning (creating accounts, updating, following up with students about progress 
  • Managing tech hosting calendar 
  • Updating our master calendar with all trainings and events and send sending invites to trainers
  • Supporting staff by tech hosting events 
  • Collecting bios, headshots and training descriptions from all trainers 

The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Communications department to support the communication and marketing of events and trainings by assisting in: 

  • Making updates to the recoveryvermont.org website: calendar, events, trainings, etc. 
  • Creating Zoom links for trainings 
  • Creating and updating training forms in Jotforms
  • Creating Facebook events for trainings 
  • Answer and check communication sent to info@recoveryvermont.org and through our website
  • Assist in creating newsletters and adding contacts to Constant Contact Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Highly organized, has a desire to develop systems, organizational processes, and workflow
  • Proven self-starter. What projects have you taken and really run with? 
  • Proven experience with webhosting and web updating 
  • Proven experience with Google Drive, Microsoft Office products, and social media messaging. 

Requirements

  • ·Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  •  Highly organized, has a desire to develop systems, organizational processes, and work flow
  • Proven self-starter. What projects have you taken and really run with?
  • Proven experience with webhosting and web updating
  • Proven experience with Google Drive, Microsoft Office products, and social media messaging.
