Help Lines
Vermont Helplink is a free, statewide resource for finding and navigating substance use treatment and recovery services in Vermont. Call them at 802-565-LINK or connect via chat. Calling 211 will also connect you to Vermont Helplink.
Online Recovery Meetings
A sober community that has online resources and meetings. Their philosophy is largely using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
A resource of multiple online AA and 12 step meetings.
Offering free daily online recovery meetings, including ones for family members and loved ones. Unity supports multiple pathways.
Free online 12 step meetings: NA, AA, Al-Anon.
A free online recovery tool that offers 130 weekly online meetings from multiple pathways.
Recovery Dharma Online organizes daily meetings accessible via computer, smartphone, or dial-in. Together they meditate, study Buddhist teachings, and support one other on their paths to sobriety and peace.
Online Free Yoga, Exercise & Meditation Classes
The Phoenix VT
The Phoenix, the free sober active community, is offering all their classes online – yoga, Crossfit, and meditation daily.
Hundreds of classes to pick from – based on duration, type, and area of concentration.
Vermont based non-profit yoga studio, Sangha, is offering online classes added daily.
Guided meditations and online classes on mindfulness and compassion with Tara Brach who founded the Insight Meditation Community.
Yoga classes, meditations, mindfulness techniques, lectures and stress relief videos from Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health.
Tommy has a holistic approach to recovery – incorporating yoga, meditation, music, food and hiking into recovery.
Story Yoga, a non-profit yoga teacher training program for folks in recovery is currently running all of their classes virtually.
The Turning Point Center of Chittenden County’s Yoga Community is now hosting weekly free classes on Zoom.
Recovery Housing
The Vermont Alliance for Recovery Residences (VTARR) is a state affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences. Their mission is to support those in recovery from Substance Use Disorders by improving access to Recovery Residences through established standards, a fair and transparent certification process, community engagement, education, technical assistance, research, and advocacy.
VFOR has recovery residences in St. Albans, Essex Jct., Burlington, South Burlington, St. Johnsbury and Morrisville, Vermont. Barre coming soon!
