Every year, over 12,000 people in Vermont leave substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. We're on a mission to support their continued recovery. Recovery Vermont celebrates substance use disorder recovery in Vermont through trainings, advocacy, and leadership programs.

September is Recovery Month! 

September is Recovery Month! Recovery Vermont is the hub for all Recovery Vermont events.  Click for a full list of all events happening in Vermont to celebrate.

Recovery Vermont is proud to announce the receipt of a challenge grant from the Hoehl Family Foundation!  The Hoehl Family Foundation will match, dollar-for-dollar, all funds we raise during September is National Recovery Month, up to $15,000.  All funds collected by Recovery Vermont will be donated to Vermont’s Recovery Centers and Recovery Residences to support their amazing work in helping those living in or seeking recovery from substance use disorder.

Know someone that is an amazing recovery professional that deserves to be recognized and rewarded? We want to know who they are! In honor of National Addiction Professionals Day on September 20, Recovery Vermont is asking colleagues to nominate someone working or volunteering as a recovery professional to become a first ever Vermont Recovery All-Star! Based on your nominations, Recovery Vermont will select five individuals for the title of “Vermont Recovery Professional All-Star.”

Thank you for all your nominations! All-Stars will be announced on Monday, September 20th on National Addiction Professionals Day!

Vermont Recovery Coach Academy

Recovery Vermont is home to the Vermont Recovery Coach Academy. The Vermont Recovery Coach Academy is our evidenced-based, comprehensive, and interactive training designed to equip participants with current tools, skills and resources vital to becoming an effective Vermont Recovery Coach.
